Construction Department

Field of activity of the Construction Department:

Development of Construction Industry;
Compilation and application of legal acts for technical rules in construction industry;
Supervision, functioning and inspection of construction industry;
Supervision and inspection of the construction products;
Supervision and inspection of trade for construction products;
Attests control for construction products;
Enterprises licensing for construction works, enterprises for production the construction materials, projecting enterprises and laboratories for tests examination of construction products.

Participates in compilation of the legal and sub-legal rules in construction field;
Proposes and assists in development and reconstruction direction of the construction industry in Kosovo;
Directly applies and supervises law application and other rules dealing with development of construction industry;
Proposes and takes measures for compilation of the developing programs according to strategies which shall be built relating to development of construction industry;
Processes data for minerals resources which are used in construction industry, their qualitative and quantitative classification as well their locations;
Conducts work, realizes contacts and cooperates with international organizations, specialized agencies and with other organizations with purpose of experience exchange in relation to development of construction industry
