Round table "Business in protecting consumers" took place

The conference "Business in protecting consumers” took place In Grand Hotel, which was organized by the  Consumer Protection Council, operating under the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

Representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, representatives of local and international institutions and representatives from business areas  attende the round  table for consumers.
 
Consumer Protection in Kosovo has abvios improvements, but there is still work to be done by kosovo institutions, to engage and ensure more consumer protection in order not to endanger their health, was stressed by participants in this round table. 
 
Round Table was welcomed by the minister counselor of the MTI, Nehat Ramadani, who emphasized that such meetings aimed at strengthening consumer protection mechanisms and initiatives for information campaigns about rights and consumer protection in general, and will consistently be supported by the Ministry of Trade and Industry. He added that the MTI and Kosovo institutions are in function of  protection of  consumers and they have  developed legal infrastructure and  policies for this area.
